Change a Student's Grade Level
How do I change a student's grade level?
- Select the student. School Enrollment> Enrollment History
- Click on the date under the Current Enrollment Heading.
- Make the changes on the Edit Current Enrollment screen. This page now includes two fields that are required: Parentally Placed Private and Primary Service Provider. Set the first to no and the second to yes. Click submit.
Please note that if the student is being retained, a decision must be made regarding their historical grades from the previous year. If the student is repeating first grade, for example, then the old historical grades for first grade should be deleted otherwise the report card the second time through will show duplicates for each subject. It always a good idea to save the PDF of that first report card and then delete the historical grades. You can let us know when ready, and we can delete them all at once for you.
